Curly Chili Love

When I met the onion
and danced with it
hot sensation crept through my chest
as it enveloped me in a warm hug

when I was near the garlic
my body seemed to rumble
sparked by its flirtatious scent

Hhmmh .. how confused I was
torn between two slices of onions
always concealing my slender body

dilemmas of love I guess
like a rustling blade that slivers

ah .. should I end it all?

.. with sprinkles of briny salts
and a squeeze of sour lime
that might make me stop dreaming ..
as the curly chili
hoping to always be in every menu
called .. love

Poem by Cornelia Agatha and Kirana Kejora

Cinta Cabe Keriting

Saat aku bertemu bawang merah
dan berdansa bersamanya dadaku
terasa makin panas
karena pelukannya begitu hangat

ketika aku berdekatan
dengan bawang putih
tubuhku terasa mendidih
karena sentilan aromanya yang genit

Hhmmh..betapa bingungnya aku
saat harus sama-sama merindu
diantara dua bawang
yang irisannya sama-sama senantiasa
menaburi liuk tubuh jenjangku

dilema cinta kurasa
bagai desiran pisau
yang mengiris perih

ah..apakah aku harus akhiri semua?

dengan taburan asin garam
dan remasan asam jeruk nipis
yang mungkin bisa membuatku
berhenti bermimpi
sebagai cabe keriting
yang berharap selalu ada di setiap menu
bernama.. cinta
