Most food blog posts relate to where the bloggers come from, the roads they traveled, countries they have lived, and occasionally their comfort foods.

In some countries, food bloggers unite to form associations to strengthen their presence and  to share  knowledge of food writing, food photography and recipes sharing. Another important venue for food bloggers to connect is conferences categorized by countries or regions. In some cases theses conferences evolved into associations of food bloggers.

We tried to do a little research and identified associations and conferences where food bloggers joined within their countries for common goals. As the numbers of food bloggers keep increasing so will the associations; therefore this list will be continually updated:

AUSTRALIAN Food Blogger Conference - eatdrinkblog.org

This group first gathered in 2010 through Eat Drink Blog meetings created to bring Australian food bloggers together. SOUTH AFRICAN Food and Wine Blogger INDABA - foodbloggerindaba.com

The concept of the South African Food Bloggers Conference came from Colleen Grove, as she was also unable to attend a food bloggers conference that she read through international blogs. Colleen Grove and Jeanne Horak-Druiff started the first meeting in 2010 in Cape Town targeting those who blog about food and wine and those interested in these fields. At the second meeting, the word conference is changed to INDABA, a famous Zulu terms for business or matter.  The South African group who just finished its third meeting has almost 1500 followers in its blog.
